Story of Swim Like a Fish: Launched in 2022 as an LLC , Swim Like a Fish (a one-man show) set out with a goal to reach as many children as possible. The original intent of the company was to use the process of learning to swim to build confidence and inspire youth to find satisfaction in doing the best they can. While that objective remains at the core of the company’s owners philosophy, the immediate importance is to create safer, stronger swimmers. Initially driven by a passion for teaching swimming, the discouraging national statistics concerning swimming and water safety became another urgent driving force for the owner of the company: 54% of Americans can’t swim or don’t have basic swimming skills (American Red Cross survey) Drowning remains the leading cause of death for U.S. children ages 1-4, and the second leading cause for children under 14 (Centers for Disease Control) Today, Swim Like a Fish, LLC is serving Lee, Hendry, Collior, Desoto, Port Charlotte, and Babcock Ranch. I am a professional swim instructor that offers private swim lessons for toddlers (age 2) through adults. I’m certified Physical Education teacher, Water Safety Ambassador for the Red Cross, served as a Life guard in High School, and I am always up to date on my CPR for infants, children, and adults and also AED. I’m also trained and have experience with special needs students and am willing to work with all. Swim Like a Fish, LLC offers one on one swim lessons to ages 2 and up, including toddlers, kids, and adults. Over time, the instructors build safer, stronger, more confident swimmers, one swimmer, one pool, and one community at a time. Lessons are available weekdays during the afternoon 3:45-5 and on Saturdays in the mornings. 8:30-10

Cancellation/Make-Up Policy: *Gift your lesson to a friend, sibling, neighbor, or even yourself so long as the swimmer gets registered and completes all of the documents we require. We encourage you to make every effort to attend your scheduled lesson times to support their success. Swim Like a Fish,LLC cannot credit or pro-rate your account or issue refunds for any missed lessons. *Inclement Weather Policy: Rain does not cancel a lesson! Swim Like a Fish, LLC, conducts lessons in the rain so please plan to swim in the rain. If this is a concern please avoid booking in the colder season because in order for me to reserve your lessons I can not stray from this policy and must commit to the schedule you sign up for, rain or shine. *Lighting and/or thunder do cancel a lesson. Swim Like a Fish, LLC, will reschedule your lesson for a later date. Swim Like a Fish, LLC, must initiate the cancellation for you to be allowed to reschedule. Do not assume a lesson is canceled due to the elements. Swim Like a Fish, LLC, will contact you and confirm the cancellation as soon as possible. *Late Policy: Your reserved day/time slot(s) will be the time period you have booked online. For example, if you reserve from 4:00 pm to 4:20 pm and you arrive at 4:05 pm, your lesson will still end promptly at 4:20 pm. The time period before and after your lesson is allotted for other swimmers.
