(CYDP) is Youth Development Programme that builds on the strengths of young people by developing their skills. This includes providing them with leadership training, mentoring, and helping them to transition through the challenges and problems they may experience in their daily lives. Helping others isn't only good for others and a good thing, it also makes us happier and healthier and can reduce stress levels in some cases. Giving connects us to others, strengthens community, and helps create a happier society for all. And it's good for society! It's the ability to see others' problems and feel their pain, but also have enough perspective to help them find solutions instead of just feeling sorry for themselves. When you have compassion for others, you're able to be there for them when they're in need without being overwhelmed by it yourself.
