Charleston Archery provides quality archery education to youth and adults in Charleston and surrounding areas. Our instructors are all certified by USA Archery and have completed a background check and SafeSport training. Archery is a sport where anyone can excel. Body type or size is irrelevant. Archery adapts to your goals, whether you’re looking for a way to relax and clear your mind, spend some time in nature, get a great core and upper body workout, or compete on a state or national stage.
Anna Ruggiero is a Level 3 certified USA Archery Coach. In addition to teaching private lessons she has coached a NASP team for nine years, and as a Girl Scout camp director she brought archery back to camps that had discontinued their programs. Anna is also a competitive archer and holds several National Field Archery Association state titles.
Cancellation policy
We understand things happen. Please give at least 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule, and we will accommodate you as best as we can. If you are a new client we will transfer your lesson fee to your new date.

Private lesson- New Archer
Wanting to try out archery for the first time? Our 55 minute introductory lesson is the best way to do that. We provide all the equipment and instruction you need to get a feel for archery and see if it is a sport you would like to continue. Lessons are held on John's Island.

55 minute lesson for archers who have taken a lesson with Charleston Archery before. Lesson can be private or semi-private with a family member or friend. Lessons are held on Johns Island.

Intermediate Archer Tune-Up
Not shooting as accurately as you once were? Has your form gotten a little rusty? Do your arrows avoid the bullseye? We can help. Shooting is as much of a mental sport as it is a physical one, and we can help you improve both elements. Our archer Tune-Ups are 75 minute sessions where we evaluate your current shot cycle and help you make modifications that will allow you to improve. We use video to show you how your form affects your shot. We also cover some training tips, goal setting, and mental management tips to keep you on your game. This session is BYOB&A (Bring your own bow and arrows).

Private Lesson- New Archer
